1 Samuel 16:1-13 (NIV)
*When you’re chosen it doesn’t matter how many go through the process the position is yours, because God already chose you. Don’t worry about who’s doing this and that. Trust in the one that has already made the selection. Sometimes you’re trying to get comfortable with the wrong people. God makes you wait because he has to move some things out of the way. God has a way of working in your life even if you can’t see it. You just have to wait until God moves some things out of the way.
* Being chosen by God is not optional it’s mandatory. Don’t be upset when those that are closest to you think you’re not the one.
* Your next big move is going to make some people jealous but they’re going to stay close to you, because God is going to use them to catapult you to your next step. You’re getting ready to walk into increase.
God is getting ready to cut you off from the grace line. Stop getting excited cause you are on the waiting list when you can do it on your own.
*When you’re chosen God does not pull you into something that you’re not already in. God does his best when you’re serving even without the title. He can do the part and look the part. You have to be in condition to be able to stand.
You know you’ve been chosen when the spirit of the Lord is visible and working in your life. When God’s hand is on you, you don’t have to say anything.
Don’t wait to seek God for a refill, he wants to give you a new filling. You can’t keep the same old stuff. When God gives you something new, if you let the same old stuff fill that space it can decay.
Some of us don’t want to go where God has called us to because we have to have what’s familiar. God should’ve been through with us a long time ago.
